I’d told myself that when you come, I’ll tell you about the sadness of my heart
[But] What shall I say when all my sadness would vanish by the time you arrive?
- Sa’adi(via sokoot)
When I speak out of anger;
when my words come out
like rain and my voice turns into
know that it is not me speaking,
but the thunder in my soul.
like nature, I truly am gentle.
even nature screams.
at one moment in your life everything could seem like it’s falling into all the right places; your education, career, love interest, everything. and then Allah leads you to a point in your life where you’re not so certain about things anymore. I hope God nourishes me with…
One of the best feelings is knowing that you’re wanted. Knowing that someone wants to talk to you, wants to know how you’re doing, or wants to see you. Whether they pick up the phone to send you a quick text or stop by your house to catch up, someone or something reminded them of you specifically. It just feels really nice to know that you’ve been on someone’s mind and that they care enough to let you know that.
We stay up late because, for those couple of hours, you’re left with nothing and no one but yourself. While it may hurt to reflect upon thoughts that you are distracted from during the day, the act of doing so is basically you at your truest form, your rawest form.
Those couple of hours allow you to be honest with yourself.
Ask me to tell you
about her eyes,
and I will start
speaking of the stars.
Ask me about
and I will tell you
about her heart.
You know when you close your eyes and imagine what your life is going to be in the future, every single dream you have rolled into that one idealistic life that you hope to achieve?
And you have this image, feelings you anticipate, and you have this scenario in your head, and you play it over and over again, adding stuff you think will make you happy.
An idea. A dream. A hope.
I’m trying to hold on to mine.
The most beautiful thing
is that He knows
what you are about to tell Him
He still listens.
هذه هي الحياة، خذها كما تأتي، إياك أن تظلم أو تؤذي أحدا، وإياك أن يرهقك الجود وإن اتهمك الناس بالسفه أو الغفلة والضعف
This is life: take it as it comes, never wrong or harm anyone, and never tire of generosity even when people accuse you of naivety, stupidity and weakness.
